  •  suffering from gastrointestinal issues
  •  younger than six weeks old or weigh less than 4kg
  •  allergic to meloxicam
  • taking NSAIDs, steroidal treatments, aminoglycoside antibiotics or anticoagulants
  • dehydrated, hypovolaemic or hypotensive.
